Thoene Farm Services

Thoene Farm Service is located at Burwell in north cental Nebraska. We are on the Loup River valley between the sandhill rangeland to the Northwest and irrigated farmland to the Southeast.

We started in 1983, specializing in irrigation engine sales and service and general ag repair.

In 1993, Vermeer Hay Equipment & Livestock Feeding Equipment were added to diversify the business.

In 2002 a building expansion was completed to accommodate increasing service and parts requirements.

In 2003, McCormick Tractors were added along with various short lines pertaining to the livestock business.

This is all supported with a modern service and repair shop and parts department. Also, field service trucks are a huge part of the business. We work on almost any type of agriculture and heavy equipment.

Cherry County Implement

Cherry County Implement is located in the sandhills at Valentine, NE, which is in the heart of cattle and hay country.

Cherry County Implement was established in June 2005 after purchasing an existing Vermeer dealership. Other short lines were added to diversify the business. Shop general repairs and field service trucks are a huge part of the the business.

In 2014, after growing out of the old facility, a new 12,500 sq. ft building was built across the street to accommodate the growing business. With the larger shop area, more service is available for tractors, hay and feeding equipment, ATVs, and skid loaders.

Also, another major addition is a NAPA store and, more recently, Bobcat equipment and attachments.
